Must be able to work 2nd shift.
To provide water park maintenance necessary to achieve stated objectives for ride maintenance, ride checks, repairs, costs, guest service satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
Knowledge of leisure activities/commercial recreation in a "for profit" setting is preferred. Knowledge of water park maintenance and its day-to-day functions within a resort is helpful. Possess excellent basic math skills.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Have knowledge of air conditioning/heating systems, plumbing, building and all facility maintenance. Have knowledge of ride maintenance schedules, and repairs. Have knowledge of water park rides and daily operations for a water park or leisure/vacation venue.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all water park rides are inspected daily, weekly, and monthly.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the ride manufacturer's preventative maintenance programs.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, and county and municipal regulations that pertain to rides safety, inspections, and yearly inspection with all authorities.
Monitor and ensure that the pools are kept in the correct chemical balance.
Responsible for the cleanliness of all pools for both indoor and outdoor water parks. Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
