REQUIRED SKILLS: Basic business administration and general knowledge of principles and practices of a retail environment preferred.
KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE: Micros System, computer knowledge and other office equipment knowledge preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Possible heavy inventory workloads; exerting up to 40 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Maintain a high-energy level to be able to stand on your feet throughout the day on the retail/sales floor.
Concessions Cashier: Greet customers and ascertain their wants/needs. Open and close Micros system. Perform tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges and security practices. Computer sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payments and room charges. Maintain records related to sales. Watch for and recognize safety risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires, providing up-selling opportunities when appropriate. Answer questions regarding the store, resort, and merchandise. Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers. Ticket, prepare, price, and maintain merchandise. Clean shelves, counters, tables, and windows as needed. Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns. Bag or package purchases. Inventory stock and transfer new stock to stores. Participate actively in taking monthly inventory.
Concessions Pizza/Grill Cook: Cook and prepare a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. Concession Cook I also support and assist the Concession Manager in concessions operations, completing all necessary preparation work to keep stock up to last the given time being served. Concession Cooks should help out the line and pizza cooks with appropriate levels of ingredients ready to efficiently cook menu items to order. He/she is also responsible for assisting in ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation and safety in the kitchen, and storage areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio.
